9 • Operating and Cleaning Your Ceiling Fan

Fan Operation: To start the fan, press the speed button on the remote at the level you desire:

3 for high

2 for medium

1 for low

To turn off the fan, press the “0” button on the remote.

Light Operation: The light button is used to turn on, dim, and turn off the light.

To Turn the light on:

Press the light button 1 time and the light will come on to the previously set level.

To dim the light:

Press and hold the light button until the light has reached the desired level. (As you hold the button, the light level will move throughout its entire range within 16 seconds.) Release the button at the desired level.

To Turn the light off:

Press the light button 1 time for gradual off and the light will dim automatically for approximately 20 seconds until all the way off to allow for safe exit from the room.

Press the light button 2 times or 1 time while the light is dimming for instant off.

Heater Operation: The heater button is used to turn on, and off the heater.

Press the heater button 1 time to turn the heater on.

Press the heater button again to turn the heater off.

Note: To assure the maximum benefit of the heater function.

Regardless of the speed setting on the fan, when the ceiling fan is operating and the heater function is turned ON, the ceiling fan automatically switches to low-speed updraft only and will not accept any commands from the remote until the heater is turned off.

AUTO RESUME FEATURE

This fan contains a receiver with an auto resume feature. The receiver remembers the intensity of the light, speed and direction of the fan, and whether the heater is on or off. When power is restored to the receiver, the fan, light, and heater will be at the previous settings.
