Blade Control Lever
To engage the mower blades, slowly lift the lever up and into the the lock notch.
WARNING!
No adjustments or maintenance to be carried out unless:
•the engine stopped
•the ignition key removed
•the parking brake activated
Bypass Linkages
Transaxle bypass linkages must be engaged when pushing or pulling the mower. The release levers are located on each side of the rear of the unit below the rear engine plate. See Moving Machine By Hand in the Operation section.
WARNING!
Bypass linkages are located close to the muffler. To prevent burns, the engine should be shut off and allowed to cool before the bypass linkage levels are handled.
