Charging the iHM11

Charging the iHM11

The iHM11 is powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery. The first time you connect it to a power source please allow 2 HOURS for it to charge fully (you can listen to the iHM11 while it is charging).

Depending on the volume on your iPod nano 6G or iPod shuffle 4G, a full charge should last for about 2 HOURS.

Connect the included mini USB plug to the USB charging port inside the iHM11 and the larger USB plug to a powered USB port, such as that on a computer. The Charging/Power indicator LED will glow red while the iHM11 is charging and turn green when fully charged.

NOTE: The iHM11 will NOT charge your iPod nano 6G or iPod shuffle 4G

When the green power light dims, or if you start to notice sound distortion at higher volumes, it's time to recharge the battery.

Listening to the iHM11

See instructions above to charge the iHM11.

Connect the attached stereo audio cord to the headphone jack on the bottom of your iPod nano 6G or iPod shuffle 4G.

Slide the Power Switch of the iHM11 to the ON position. The charging/ power LED light will glow green.

Power on your iPod nano 6G or iPod shuffle 4G. Select music to play and adjust volume on your iPod.

Clip iPod to the elastic retaining band with the front facing the plastic window on the iHM11.

For portable play, use zipper to close speaker case.

While listening, press the iPod nano 6G touch screen or iPod shuffle 4G control pad through the clear plastic window on the iHM11 to access controls on your iPod (play and pause your iPod, etc.). If you experience distortion, lower the volume on the iPod nano 6G or iPod shuffle 4G.

When you’re through listening, please remember to turn off your iPad nano 6G or iPod shuffle 4G and the iHM11 to save battery charge.

NOTE: Typically, your iPod nano 6G display will go into sleep mode after a brief time to save its battery life. We recommend turning ON the iPod nano 6G “Shake to Shuffle” option (Settings>Music) to change songs while it is in the case and the display is in sleep mode. Otherwise, open the case and press the Power Button on the iPod nano 6G to wake it up.
