To stop the program at any time, press the Stop button. The time will begin to flash in the Pace/Time display. To restart the program, press the Start button or the Speed increase button. The walking belt will begin to move at 1 mph. When the next segment of the program begins, the treadmill will automatically adjust to the speed and incline settings for the next segment.

4 Follow your progress with the displays.

5 Measure your heart rate if desired.

6 Turn on the fan if desired.

When you are finished exercising, remove the

7 key from the console.

When the program has ended, make sure that the incline of the treadmill is at the lowest set- ting. Next, remove the key from the console and put it in a secure place. Note: If the displays and various indicators on the console remain lit after the key is removed, the console is in the “demo” mode. See page 24 and turn off the demo mode.

When you are finished using the treadmill, move the reset/off circuit breaker to the off po- sition and unplug the power cord.
