Using Directories

When dealing with the capability for hours of music, obviously you are going to want some form of organization. Max-300 MP3/CD Player supports multiple directories for organizing the tracks on your CD.

Tracks are arranged in alphabetical order by directory. For example, the tracks in a directory labeled “Beatles” will play before the tracks in the directory labeled “Pink Floyd”. The tracks in the directories are also played in alphabetical order. A track by the name of Blackbird.mp3 would play before Yellow Submarine.mp3.

One-level Directories:

1.During normal playback, press DIR/REC one time to enter DIR mode. The DIR No. should be flashing.

2.Using FORWARD and REWIND, select the directory you want and press PLAY one time. It will automatically start playing the first track.

Multi-level Directories:

1.During normal playback, press DIR/REC one time to enter DIR mode. The DIR No. should be flashing.

2.Using FORWARD and REWIND, select the next level directory you want.

3.If you want to go to a previous directory, press STOP one time.

Note: After selecting the directory, if there are no MP3 files in it, operation will be canceled in 3 seconds and return to the last operation status.

Track Selection in DIR playback status:

1.Press FORWARD once. The file number should be flashing.

2.Press the FORWARD or REWIND to select the track. If you want to select tracks faster, hold down FORWARD or REWIND until the track you want is displayed in the LCD.
