Listening to the radio

To listen to the radio:

1Make sure the Function switch is in the RADIO position.

2Slide the Band switch to AM or FM. The LCD displays either KHz (AM) or MHz (FM).

3Rotate the TUNING control to select a radio station. The LCD displays the station frequency.

4If necessary, rotate the VOLUME control to adjust the volume.

Improving reception

To improve radio reception:

•AM reception–Rotate your boombox until the signal is clear.

•FM reception–Extend the FM antenna, then rotate it until the signal is clear.

Listening to a CD

Note

In addition to audio CDs, your boombox can play CD-Rs. A

CD-R must be finalized before you can play it.

To listen to a CD:

1Make sure that the Function switch is in the CD position.

2Press the OPEN button to open the CD door.

3Insert a CD, label side up, into the CD compartment.

4Gently press down on the CD door to close the CD compartment.

5Press the Play/Pause button to start playback.

6If necessary, rotate the VOLUME control to adjust the volume.

7To stop playback, press the Stop button.
