Automatic power off
If your CD player is in stop (standby) mode for 60 seconds, your player turns off automatically to save battery power. When your CD player turns off, all settings, such as program and playing modes, are erased.
Searching on a CD
Audio CD
To search for a track or a section of a track on an audio CD:
•Press the / button once to go to the beginning of the currently playing track.
•Press the / button repeatedly to go to backwards through the tracks on the audio CD.
•Press the / button once to go to the next track.
•Press the / button repeatedly to go to forward through the tracks on the audio CD.
•Press and hold the / or / button to search backwards or forwards at high speed. When you find the section your want, release the button.
Note
Low level audio is played when you search to help you locate the track or section you want.
MP3 or WMA CD
To search for a track:
•Press the / button once to go to the beginning of the currently playing track.
•Press the / button repeatedly to go to backwards through the tracks on the MP3 or WMA CD.
•Press the / button once to go to the next track.
•Press the / button repeatedly to go to forward through the tracks on the MP3 or WMA CD.
Note
On MP3 or WMA CDs with multiple albums, albums are represented as “folders.”
