モバイル・ユーザにとって、セキュリティは重要な問題です。[System Configuration] メニューの [Mobile-Home MD5 key] オプションを有効にする と、MD5 アルゴリズムを使用して 16 バイトのチェックサム・オーセン ティケータが生成されます。MU AP は、と呼ばれるこのチェックサ ムを共有して、双方間で送信されるメッセージを認証します。MU が外部 サブセット上にある場合、MU AP はこの鍵を共有します。

MU AP は同じ鍵を使用する必要があります。鍵が同じでないと、AP MU ホーム・エージェントとして機能することを拒否します。鍵の最大 長は 13 文字です。AP では、印刷可能な文字であればどのような文字も使 用できます。
