Unacceptable Vehicle Belt Systems
DO NOT use any of the following systems to secure the doll booster.
•Lap Belts with Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR): This lap belt stays loose and can move until it locks in a sudden stop or crash.
•Combination Lap/Shoulder Belt with Retractor: Each strap has a retractor at one end and is attached to the latch plate at the other end.

•Extend LATCH Attachment Strap to its maximum length.
•Place the booster in a
•Thread LATCH Attachment Strap through one of the slots on the side of the booster and then out the other side slot. See Figure 9. Make sure strap lays flat and is not twisted.
•Push the connectors through the seat crease slots and hook them to vehicle lower anchors. See Figure 10. Pull firmly on connectors to be sure they are attached.
•Tighten LATCH by pushing down hard on booster and pulling the adjustment belt.
•NEVER put two LATCH Attachment Strap connectors on one vehicle LATCH anchor unless specifically allowed by the vehicle manufacturer.
