Backing Up All Files
Beforemakingbackup,makesurethatthereisenough
freespaceinthe PC'sHDD.
Backupwillnotstartifthereis notenoughfree space.
B ConnecttheUSBcable and the ACadapter.
• Before connecting, turn off the
camcorder by pressing the _ button
for about 2 seconds.
To DC Connector
The subsequent operations are to be
performed on the PC.
_ Select the volume.

* The ACadapter shown in the illustration
isAC-Vl 1U(forGZ-HM860).
• This unit turns on and the "BACK-UP"
menu appears.
Tap "CONNECT TO PC".
D Tap "BACK UP".
_ Start backup.
Saving destination (PC)
After backup iscomplete, click"OK".

providedsoftware Everio MediaBrowser
3BE, please consult the "Pixela User
Support Center". (p. 32)
[] To disconnect this unit from the
PC
1_Click "Safely Remove Hardware".
• The provided software Everio
MediaBrowser 3BE starts up on the
PC.
Click "Safely Remove USB Mass
Storage Device".
(._ (For Windows Vista) Click "OK".
(_ Disconnect the USB cable and
close the LCD monitor.
