Playing an external component

For KD-G612/KD-G611:

You can connect an external component to the CD changer jack on the rear using the Line Input Adapter KS-U57 (not supplied), and another to the AUX (auxiliary) input jack on the control panel.

For KD-G511:

You can connect an external component to the CD changer jack on the rear using the Line Input Adapter KS-U57 (not supplied).

~For KD-G612/KD-G611:

AUX IN: For selecting the external component connected to the AUX input jack.

EXT IN: For selecting the external component connected to the CD changer jack on the rear using KS-U57 (see page 24 for selecting the external input—EXT IN).

Portable MD player, etc.

For KD-G511:

•If “EXT IN” does not appear, see page 24 and select the external input (EXT IN).

ŸTurn on the connected component and start playing the source.!Adjust the volume.⁄Adjust the sound as you want. (See pages 20 and 21.)
