Cable Card Information

Cable card offers information when a cable card is inserted into the CABLE CARD slot on the back of the television.

Notes:

•"RS-232C" terminal is only for models LT-40FH97 and LT-46FH97.

•Please contact your local cable company regarding detailed information.

•When the cable card is inserted into the cable card slot, if you turned the power off, the fan will continue to rotate because the program information is being renewed. This is normal.

Notes for inserting Cable Card:

•Firmware Upgrade of Cable Card can be executed. While executing the Firmware Upgrade, please do not turn off the TV, according to the message on the TV screen.

•When you are watching a program, and if a weather or government emergency occurs, the following may occur automatically regardless of what channel you were watching: the channel may change, the screen will disappear or important text will appear on the screen. The information is transmitted from EAS (Emergency Alert System). EAS information may also appear when you do not have a cable card inserted.
