5Fast Forward / Fast Reverse
DVD CD VCD MP3
Press [FWD D] or [REV E] repeatedly
during playback to select the required E 1 forward or reverse speed.
To continue playback, press [PLAY B].
Note:
•Set “STILL MODE” to “FIELD” in the “OTHERS” menu if pictures in the fast playback mode are blurred. (Refer to page 42.)
•Fast forward / fast reverse speed is varies with disc. Approximate speed is 1(2x), 2(8x), 3(20x), 4(50x) and 5(100x) on DVD and 1(2x), 2(8x) and 3(30x) on audio CD, video CD and MP3.
•For DVD and video CD, sound will be muted during the search.
•For audio CD and MP3, sound will be intermittent during the search.
5Slow Forward / Slow Reverse

3Once a desired zoom factor is set,
use [Cursor K / L / s / B] to slide the zoomed picture across the TV screen.
4Press [ZOOM] repeatedly to exit zoom mode.
Note:
•Zoom function does not work while the disc menu is displayed.
•4x zoom is not available on some discs.
•Only 2x zoom is available on video CD and JPEG files.
•Zoom function is also available during pause mode.
•Position guide is not available for JPEG files.
5MP3, JPEG Playback
Press [FWD D] or [REV E] repeatedly
during the paused mode to select the
1 required forward or reverse speed.
To continue playback, press [PLAY B].
Note:
•Slow forward/slow reverse speed varies with disc. Approximate speed is 1(1/16x), 2(1/8x) and 3(1/2x).
•Set “STILL MODE” to “FIELD” in the “OTHERS” menu if pictures in the slow playback mode are blurred. (Refer to page 42.)
•You cannot playback video CD in reverse slow motion.
5Zoom
DVD VCD JPEG
The zoom function allows you to enlarge the video image and to pan through the enlarged image.

MP3 or JPEG is a method of compressing files. You can copy MP3 or JPEG files on

•Press [Cursor s] when you want to go back to the previous hierarchy (except for the top hierarchy).
•If [TITLE] is pressed when a file list is displayed, the 1st item in the top hierarchy will be highlighted.
•Press [DISC MENU] or [BACK/RETURN] to go back to playback display.
• The picture becomes twice as large.
2Press [ZOOM] repeatedly to change the zoom factor, “2x” or “4x”.
2Press [STOP C] once to stop playback temporarily.
