Turning Off the Power with the Timer

You can fall asleep while listening to music—Sleep Timer.

There is a time limit in doing the following steps. If the setting is canceled before you finish, start from step 1 again.

From the remote control ONLY:

1 Press SLEEP repeatedly until “SLEEP DIMMER (with the remaining time) ” appears on

You can change the shut-off time by pressing cursor 3/2 then

ENTER .

To cancel the Sleep Timer

Press cursor 3/2 repeatedly until “SLEEP OFF” appears on the display in procedure above, then ENTER.

Turning off the power also cancels the Sleep Timer.

Adjusting the Pictures

You can adjust parameters that affect the appearance of picture.

From the remote control ONLY:

1Press CHOICE while playing back adisc.

Video Enhance menu appears on TV-screen.

Each time you press the button, the indication in the main display changes as follows:

2Press cursor 3/2 to select theshut-off time.

• The shut-off time changes as follows:

“OK” appears on the display and the sleep indicator lights up.

When the shut-off time comes, the system turns off automatically.

Adjust gradually to show preferable

appearance by confirming the picture.

Brightness: Controls the brightness of the screen.

Edges: Controls the sharpness of the screen.

Color: Controls the color of the screen.

Contrast: Controls the contrast of the screen.

3Press cursor 3/2 repeatedly to change the setting.

ENTER

4Press CHOICE.

Video Enhance menu disappears.

Note:

If you turn off the unit, the video enhance setting return to initial setting.
