Do not twist, kink or wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this may cause the plastic insulation to weaken and split (particularly where the cord enters the appliance or joins the plug) thus allowing the cord’s wiring to be bared and become an electrical hazard. If the cord becomes twisted, return it to your Kambrook Service Centre or Authorised Service Agent for checking or replacement.

When the hair dryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hair dryer is switched off.

For additional protection the installation of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

IMPORTANT: For safety reasons, and to avoid tampering by unskilled persons, this unit is factory sealed, as specified by electrical authorities.

If service is required, it should only be carried out by a Kambrook Service Centre or Authorised Service Agent.
