It is strongly suggested that this new water heater be professionally installed, contact the local Sears Service Center or any Sears store. They will arrange for prompt, quality installation by Sears authorized contractors.

Examine the location to ensure the water heater complies with the “Facts to Consider About the Location” section.
For California installation this water heater must be braced, anchored, or strapped to avoid falling or moving during an earthquake. See instructions for correct installation procedures.
