No. Ifyou remove or turn over the turntable, you will get poor cooking results. Dishes used in your oven must fit on the turntable.

You can use aluminum foil for shielding (use small, flat pieces), small skewers, and shallow

foil trays (if tray is not taller than 3/4in. [1.9 cm] deep and half filled with food to absorb microwave energy). Never allow metal to touch walls or door.

Yes. The turntable rotates clockwise or counter- clockwise, depending on the rotation of the motor when the cooking cycle begins.
