Using the On-screen banner display

Basic play

Preparation
÷Set the POWER ON/OFFswitch to the ON ( ) position.
÷After the power is switched ON, there is a delay of about
3 seconds before the display is lit.

Load a disc.

To stop playback
When a Disc Menu appears on the screen
In case of interactive DVDs, a Disc Menu appears on the
screen. Then press ENTER to select specific menu you
want to play by using Cursor keys.
÷To pause playback press the 8key on the main unit or press
the 6 key on the remote.
RESUME playback (only for DVD)
When the 7 (Stop) key has been pressed once during
playback to stop the playback, and then playback is
started again, play will start from the point where the
playback had been stopped. This is called the RE-
SUME function. When the 7 (Stop) key is pressed
again during stop, the RESUME function is cancelled.

1Open the tray.
2Place a disc.
3To set a disc to a different disc tray, press the DISC
SKIP key to change the position of the disc tray.
÷When the 6key is pressed while a tray is open, the
tray closes automatically, and then playback begins.
When a menu screen is recorded on the
disc, the menu screen will be displayed
when the TOP MENU key or MENU key
is pressed. At the menu screen, the
menu can be selected by pressing the
Cursor keys and ENTER key.

Do not push the disc tray directly to close it.
Always press the 0key on the main unit or the 6
key on the remote control to close the disc tray.
