Bright green digits normally show quartz time or fre- quency when tuning. Tuned frequency is recalled when R button is depressed.

©10-channel preset memory bank

Five for AM, five for FM stations. For instant recall, press AM/FM button and then appropriate preset tuning key.

©Memory entry uses error-proof volume knob- pull system

Also, low back-up current provided by lithium battery keeps memory constantly "alive."

©Auto-tuning (SEEK) mode

Volume knob is depressed for automatic station search up the frequency band.

© M a n u a l tuning up or down band

Turn knob to right or left. Keep holding to find a particular frequency.

© A N R C (and tape equalizer)

For automatic broadcast reception control. Same button also activates 70 microsecond tape equali- zation (for metal tape) when depressed.
