TCVented

The TC Series vented enclosure combines KICKER’s award winning line of subwoofers with computer- modeled and human fine-tuned enclosures to offer a level of bass performance never before thought possible from a commercially available, ready-to-install subwoofer system. The TC Series enclosure is available with a pre-loaded 10 inch Comp.

The Kicker TC Series enclosure is designed to fit behind the seat of a pickup truck, coupe or wherever space is limited. This design is engineered to provide the best bass response when firing into the back of the seat. The vent opening in this enclosure can not be obstructed. At some frequencies most of the bass will come out of the vent. Therefore we recommend you leave at least four inches (10cm) of clear space around the vent.

DC12 specifications

The Kicker DC12 is a high-performance car subwoofer that stands tall in the realm of bass sound systems. Known for its ability to deliver deep, resonant bass, the DC12 excels in both sound quality and durability, making it a favored choice among audiophiles and casual listeners alike.

One of the main features of the Kicker DC12 is its rugged construction. It employs a dual voice coil design that allows for more flexibility in wiring configurations. This flexibility is particularly useful for audiophiles who want to optimize their sound systems in various vehicles. The subwoofer is rated at 1200 watts of peak power, ensuring that it can handle the demands of powerful audio setups without distortion.

The DC12 is designed with a heavy-duty injection-molded polypropylene cone, which contributes to its ability to produce tight and impactful bass. The cone is paired with a rubberized surround, which not only enhances durability but also improves the sound quality by offering better cone movement and reducing unwanted resonance. This combination results in a clean bass response that is both punchy and well-defined.

Another standout feature of the Kicker DC12 is its vented pole piece. This innovative design promotes better airflow, which helps to keep the subwoofer cool during extended use. Heat management is crucial for maintaining performance in high-power applications, and the vented pole piece allows the subwoofer to operate efficiently without risking damage due to overheating.

In terms of installation, the DC12 is user-friendly. It is equipped with four Ohm dual voice coils, allowing for various wiring options to accommodate both a 1 Ohm or 4 Ohm configuration. This versatility ensures compatibility with a wide range of amplifiers, making it a versatile addition to any sound system. Furthermore, the subwoofer features a galvanized steel frame, which provides sturdy support while minimizing unwanted vibrations.

In summary, the Kicker DC12 subwoofer represents a blend of advanced technology and robust design. With its powerful peak wattage, resilient construction, and efficient cooling system, it is an ideal choice for anyone looking to elevate their in-car audio experience. Whether you're a bass lover or just seeking improved sound quality, the Kicker DC12 is a worthy investment for any audio enthusiast.
