5.Insert the speaker into the cutout hole. With a #2 Phillips screw- driver, tighten the four dog clamps until they are seated securely against the ceiling surface. Do not overtighten.

Seismic Tab

A seismic tab, located on the back of the speaker, is used as a secondary security point. Some construction codes may require its use. To utilize the seismic tab, run a support wire from a secure point in the ceiling and attach it to the tab. Be sure to consult the construction codes in your area. Klipsch recommends the use of this tab in all installations as a secondary means of support.

IC- 400-T, IC-650-T, IC-525-T specifications

Klipsch is renowned for its commitment to high-quality audio products, and the IC-525-T, IC-650-T, and IC-400-T in-ceiling speakers exemplify this legacy. These models are designed to deliver impressive sound performance while seamlessly integrating into home environments.

The IC-525-T is a 5.25-inch two-way speaker that combines a premium woofer and a Tractrix Horn-loaded tweeter. This design provides a broader sound dispersion, allowing for an immersive listening experience. One of its standout features is the dual 5.25-inch woofers that enhance mid-range clarity, ensuring vocals and instrumentals resonate effectively. The speakers are built with a durable grille that can be painted to match any décor, enabling customers to maintain aesthetic appeal without sacrificing audio quality.

The IC-650-T, with its larger 6.5-inch woofer, offers even deeper bass and a more powerful sound profile. Its advanced Tractrix Horn technology ensures high-frequency response is accurate and detailed, making it perfect for both music lovers and movie enthusiasts. The IC-650-T is designed with a unique low-profile magnetic grille that virtually disappears into the ceiling, further enhancing the visual appeal of the installation. This speaker is ideal for larger rooms where strong bass and overall sound projection are necessary.

For those seeking a more entry-level option, the IC-400-T presents a well-rounded performance with a 4-inch woofer. This model is particularly suitable for smaller spaces or as part of a multi-room system where clarity and balanced sound are paramount. Despite its compact design, the IC-400-T does not compromise on quality, providing an excellent audio experience for everyday use.

All three models feature Klipsch's proprietary Controlled Dispersion Technology, which minimizes reflections and optimizes sound direction, ensuring that the audio remains focused on the listening area. Additionally, each speaker is designed for easy installation with a simple-cut template, and the adjustable mounting clamps allows for secure placement in various ceiling types.

In summary, the Klipsch IC-525-T, IC-650-T, and IC-400-T speakers offer an exceptional blend of advanced audio technology and user-friendly design, making them the perfect choice for anyone looking to enhance their home audio setup. Whether for a media room, living space, or entertainment area, these speakers deliver the high-fidelity sound that Klipsch is known for.
