•Stand at an angle to shiny surfaces like windows or mirrors to avoid flash reflection and bright spots in

your pictures.

•Turn on all room lights and have your subject look at the flash to reduce red eyes in flash pictures.

TAKING OPTIONS

Besides the auto-flash mode (default setting of the camera),

you can select fill flash, flash off, infinity focus without flash, and nightview with flash.

Repeatedly press MODES (20) to select the flash mode that best suits your subject and surround- ings or a picture-taking mode that lets you tailor the camera’s fully automatic settings.
