The remote control, which functions are identical to the user keypad, places the whirlpool functions at your ﬁngertips to further enhance your bathing experience. The remote control is waterproof, so it may be used in the bath and will ﬂoat in the water.

Power	Turn the whirlpool or heater on and off.
Mode Selector	Functions in the same way as the outer ring on the user keypad. When pressed, one of the
	modes will ﬂash on the user keypad. When pressed again, the next mode in clockwise
	order will ﬂash. When the desired mode is ﬂashing, press ″OK″ to activate it.
OK	Activates the desired mode.
Up Arrow	Increases the water ﬂow or pulse.
Down Arrow	Decreases the water ﬂow or pulse.

Program

NOTE: Programming of the remote control is normally not required. However, programming the remote

control to the user keypad may be necessary if: (1) more than one device in or near the vicinity of your home uses a remote control or (2) you replace your remote control or pump control.

Turn the whirlpool power on.

Turn off all modes of operation. Wait approximately one minute until the keypad darkens completely (sleep mode).

On the user keypad, press the up arrow, down arrow, and the ″OK″ button simultaneously. The bottom LED on the user keypad indicator bar will begin ﬂashing.

While the bottom LED is ﬂashing, press the ″OK″ button on the user keypad. A light sequence will illuminate up and down the indicator bar.

While the light sequence is active, press any button on the remote control. The program will download and the user keypad will darken. The user keypad will now respond only to this remote control.

Batteries

Unscrew the end cap of the remote control, as shown.

Insert two AAA batteries.

Securely tighten the end cap, making sure the end cap contacts the seal.
