What to Do in the Event of Reception Problems

Reception disruptions, such as an unclear or distor- ted picture could have the following causes:

The indoor antenna is not correctly oriented. Every station requires an individual orientation. For this reason, reorient the indoor antenna every time after changing the station.

There are obstacles in the reception range of the indoor antenna.

Attempt to remove the obstructions or place the antenna at a different location.

There is electromagnetic interference in the immediate vicinity.

Try to eliminate the interference if, for example, it is caused by other appliances (mobile tele- phone, micro-wave, etc.).

Interference due to overmodulation.

Try to eliminate the interference by reducing the amplifier gain by turning the regulator 4 anti-clockwise.

The reception characteristics of the indoor antenna are only good if you are close enough to the broad-casting station.

Cleaning and Care

Risk of electric shock

Before cleaning, always pull the plug out of the plug socket.

Never submerge the indoor antenna into water or other liquids during cleaning.

Clean the indoor antenna only with a dry, lint-free cloth.

To avoid damaging the appliance, never use solvents for cleaning.
