AUX operation

You can connect an external sound source to the radio, for example, an MP3 player.

1.Open the Velcro fastening on the underside of the radio and take out the cable with the 3.5mm jack plug o.

2.Connect the 3.5mm jack plug o with the external audio source via its 3.5mm headphone connection.

3.Press the button POWER w. The indicator lamp q glows.

4.Press the button AUX i. The radio now plays the output from the external audio source. Operate the external audio source as detailed in its operating instructions.

Note:

The sound volume can be adjusted either with the buttons VOLUME y (KH241 VOL +) u (KH241 VOL -) or at the controls of the external audio source.

Cleaning and care

Important!

Do not permit liquids to permeate into the interior of the appliance. This would lead to irreparable damage to the appliance!

Clean the radio only with a soft brush.

Do not use moist cloths or anything similar.

Troubleshooting

The radio appears not to function

Check that the batteries are inserted as per the diagramme in the battery compartment a.

The batteries are possibly fully discharged. In this case, renew the batteries.

Check to confirm that the ON/OFF switch s on the battery compartment a is in the position ON.

No or poor reception

Change the position of the radio until you can obtain better reception.

By pressing the button SEEK r, search for a radio station with better reception.

No sound

Raise the sound level by pressing the buttons VOLUME y (KH241 VOL +).

In the event of other malfunctions, make contact with our service partner listed in the chapter “Warranty and Service”.

Disposal

Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the European directive 2002/96/EG.

Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations.

In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.
