The various displays have the following meanings:
• | The control lamp | does not glow: |
| - The inserted batteries are not positioned correctly | |
| in the charging slot . | |
| - The batteries are possibly defective. | |
• | The control lamp | continuously glows red: |
| The batteries are being charged. | |
• | The control lamp | starts to blink after 1 minute |
| (red): |

| - The charge condition of the batteries is being | |
| checked. The batteries cannot be charged. The | |
| charging proces is interrupted. | |
• | The control lamp | continuously glows green: |
- The batteries are charged and the device has switched over to retention charging.
