VA-256D specifications

Kramer Electronics has established itself as a leader in the professional audio-video industry, and the VA-256D is a compelling offering that exemplifies their commitment to quality and innovation. This advanced video distribution amplifier (VDA) is designed to accommodate high-density environments while providing superior performance and versatility.

The VA-256D features 16 HDMI inputs, enabling users to connect multiple sources seamlessly. This makes it an ideal solution for installations in conference rooms, auditoriums, and classrooms, where multiple devices need to be integrated into a single output system. With the capability to distribute a single HDMI input to multiple outputs, users can ensure consistent and synchronized video performance across various displays.

One of the standout attributes of the VA-256D is its support for 4K UHD resolution. This capability allows for the transmission of high-definition signals at resolutions up to 4096x2160 pixels, ensuring that even the most intricate details are reproduced with clarity. This technology not only enhances the visual experience but also supports modern digital signage and multimedia applications.

Additionally, the VA-256D employs advanced signal processing technologies, including automatic equalization and pixel-by-pixel processing, which help to maintain signal integrity over long distances. This feature is crucial in scenarios where the distance between the source and the display can lead to degradation of the signal. The VDA minimizes this risk, producing reliable and high-quality output.

In terms of convenience and usability, the VA-256D integrates with Kramer’s proprietary EDID technology, allowing for seamless recognition of connected devices. This intelligent feature optimizes the settings for connected displays based on their specifications, ensuring immediate compatibility and reducing the need for manual configuration.

The VA-256D also includes a range of connectivity options beyond HDMI, accommodating various audio-video systems. Its compact design and rack-mountable form factor further enhance its usability, making it suitable for both permanent installations and portable setups.

Ultimately, the Kramer Electronics VA-256D stands out for its impressive range of features, including high-resolution support, robust signal processing, and user-friendly connectivity. It empowers users to create professional-grade multimedia experiences that are both versatile and reliable, establishing it as an essential tool for any AV professional.
