13 UTILITIES
The Utilities menu on your phone provides tools
to help you schedule events, organize your time,
perform basic calculations and record notes.
Calendar
The calendar allows you to schedule events and
set reminder alerts.
Creating an event
1. Select Menu → Utilities → Calendar.
2. Press to select a date and press .
3. Press to select Options → Add.
4. To enter an event description:
– Press to select Options →
EditItem.
– Enter a name for the event in the Content
field. For help entering text, see page14.
– Press to select OK.
5. To enter an event time:
– Press to select Options →
EditTime.
– Enter a time for the event in the Enter Time
field. Use to move through the fields.
– Press to select OK.
6. To alter the date:
– Press to select Options →
EditDate.
– Enter a date for the event in the Edit Date
field. Use to move through the fields.
– Press to select
OK.
7. Press to select Save All.
Viewing or erasing an event
1. Select Menu → Utilities → Calendar.
2. Highlight a date and press .
3. Highlight an event and press to select
Options:
–View to view the event details.
–Add to add a new event.
–Erase to erase the selected event.
–Erase All to erase all events for the
selected date.
4. Follow the prompts.
Alarm Clock
Use the Alarm Clock to set an alert for a specific
time. The alert occurs only if the phone is on.
1. Select Menu → Utilities →
Alarm Clock → Time.
2. Enter the time of day you want the alarm to
sound and press .
3. Select Period and press to select:
–Once the alarm sounds when the
scheduled time occurs next.
