General Maintenance

Prior to operation, thoroughly lubricate fertilizer spreader. Check for proper operation of mechanisms by running the machine at no-load for a few feet.

Adjust the distributing assembly for spreading the quantity desired and recheck for adjustment accuracy.

All the parts must be cleaned accurately with water after every use for a long life and for the efficiency of the

Proper servicing and adjustment can increase the life of any implement. With careful and systematic inspection, you can avoid costly maintenance, time and repair.

!CAUTION!

Be sure to wear proper protective clothing when servicing or lubricating your Fertilizer Spreader. Refer to chemical manufacturers’ labels for specific clothing requirements.

Gearbox

Type of Lubrication: Use a Lithium Base gun grease, Grade

2.Note: Grease should be rated for gearbox application. Quantity = Grease until visible at purge hole.

Seasonally

Driveline

Grease all knuckle points daily. This includes the zerks, and tubes of the driveline shaft.
