This manual describes how to use the dual powered Basic Calc-u-vue calculators. The manual is organized so that instructions for getting started and basic arithmetical operations are presented in the beginning sections with many user friendly examples and notes.

The Basic Calc-u-vue has percent and square root keys; constants for addition, subtraction and multiplication; memory; and reciprocals. This three- color keyboard has a large easy-to-read LCD display with an eight-digit floating decimal point. Included is a built-in stand to angle the unit for non-glare viewing.

User Informatio n

To clear all calculations, including memory, press ON/C . To clear all calculations, except memory, press CE/C twice. To clear an incorrect entry, press CE/C once. To enter a negative number, enter the numbers, then press +/- . To change a negative number to a positive, press +/- . Examples of the basic functions are shown on the following pages.

Caution: Do not expose the Basic Calc-u-vue to direct sunlight for long periods or store in an area of excessive temperatures. Leaving the calculator on a heated surface for an extended time will effect the operation of the Student
