Color Monster Match

Setup

Each player chooses a numbered side (1–6) on the monster tower.

Each player chooses a color and takes all three cards of that color.

Turn the cards monster side up and build your monster. This is the monster you are trying to build on your side of the tower.

Object

• Be the first player to build your monster on the tower to win!

Game Play

Twist the tower and mix up the monsters to start the game.

The youngest player begins the game by spinning the spinner. Play continues clockwise.

If you spin a:

Tower Bottom — Twist the bottom section of the tower to match your monster’s feet.

Tower Middle — Twist the middle section of the tower to match your monster’s body.

Tower Top — Twist the top section of the tower to match your monster’s head.

Lose a Turn — Do not twist any of the tower sections.

It is the next player’s turn.

Free Spin — Twist any one section to match your monster cards.

If at any time you build your monster on your side, shout “Monster Match” and you win! Remember to watch as other players twist and turn the tower, because you can win on any player’s turn.

It is possible that more than one monster can be matched at one time. If this happens, the first player to shout “Monster Match” wins the game!

Variation: For a greater challenge, keep your cards face down and try building your monster by matching your card color. Turn your cards over, to see if you made a match.
