Self-timer

-The self timer cannot be set to 2 sec. in mode.

-The self timer cannot be set to 10 sec. in [SELF PORTRAIT] in mode.

-The self timer does not work in NPEF<)*41&&%#6345>JO mode.

Makro mode

Take pictures of subjects as close as 5 cm.

Press  to select

macro-mode.

-Use a tripod and the self timer in macro mode.

-Focus priority is to sub- jects near the camera.

In macro mode, is displayed. To cancel, press  again.

Auto focus [AF]

The focus range is 50 cm (1.64 feet) to ∞. Even so subjects in the picture may not be properly focused:

-When there are both, near and distant subjects in a scene.

-When there is dirt or dust on glass between the lens and the subject.

-When there are illuminated or glittering objects around the subject.

-When taking pictures in dark places or recording a very bright subject.

-When the subject is moving fast or the scene has low contrast.

-When taking close-up pictures of a subject.

-When camera shake occurs.

Photographing a subject outside the auto focus area

1. Aim the AF area at the subject, 1.

-Retry the actions in step 1. until you are satisfied with the result, before pressing the shutter button fully.
