andserialnumber.Ifyouneedserviceortechnicalsupport,youwillprobably
beaskedforthisinformation.
Shuttingdownthecomputer
Whenyouturnoffyourcomputer,alwaysfollowtheshutdownprocedurefor
youroperatingsystem.Thispreventsthelossofunsaveddataordamageto
yoursoftwareprograms.
•ToshutdowntheMicrosoftWindows7operatingsystem,opentheStartmenu
fromtheWindowsdesktopandclickShutdown.
•ToshutdowntheMicrosoftWindowsVista®operatingsystem,opentheStart
menufromtheWindowsdesktop,movethecursortothearrownexttothe
lockworkstationbutton,andselectShutDown.
