Want to feel more comfortable at home? With the XC16 air conditioner, you can feel more comfortable, without feeling the pinch of high utility bills. That’s because it has two levels of cooling for a higher level of comfort and efficiency.

A higher level of cool, efficient comfort

With its two-stage design, the XC16 makes the distinction between mild and extremely hot days, using only the energy necessary to keep you comfortable. It runs mostly at low stage, so you can avoid temperature swings and high utility bills.

And, when you combine the XC16 with a ComfortSense7000 Series touchscreen thermostat*** and Humiditrol® dehumidification system, you can also find relief from high humidity.

17.00SEER XC16 air conditioner, compared to older, less-efficient units

This chart compares the 5-year savings you can expect from an XC16 air conditioner vs. units with lower efficiency ratings. The regions used to calculate household fuel and utility costs reflect a cross-section of cities in the U.S. using

2006 Department of Energy national average energy rates. In addition to geography, cooling costs are based on 3-ton capacity specification, with 1,600 cooling hours per year.

Your actual costs will vary depending on the weather, local fuel rates, systems settings and your personal lifestyle.

Warranty**

Responsible Conserves energy, while preserving the environment

The two-stage scroll compressor uses the new R410A refrigerant, which meets the EPA’s standards for environmental safety. Because R410A contains no chlorine, it’s ozone-responsible.

***ComfortSense thermostat is required for proper operation of the Humiditrol system air conditioners and heat pumps. ComfortSense thermostat will not control the packaged rooftop unit version of the Humiditrol system.
