Vacation Tips
Short vacations:
It is not necessary to turn OFF the refrigerator if you will be away for less than four weeks.
• Use all perishables.
Long vacations:
If you will be away for a month or more:
•Remove all food from the refrigerator.
•Turn OFF the refrigerator.
•Clean the appliance. Refer to Cleaning.
•Leave the door open to prevent unpleasant odors. This will also keep mold from building up.
