Features

1. Illumination: Illumination is accomplished wit h either AllnGaP(Re d) or

InGaN(Green) high output L ight Emitting Dio des. LEDs and supp orting elec-

tronics have an expec ted life of 25 y ears. Propriet ary internal m olded-acrylic

panel (thickness: 0.45”) fo r even illumination.

2. Housing: Die cast aluminum constructio n with NFPA-typ e field selectab le

chevrons. Available in brush ed aluminum, white, and black

3. Mounting: For surface ceiling and end mo unting application s a canopy,

which utilizes a quick conne ct locking sys tem for secur e installations, is p ro-

vided. Also available in a wall m ount version for direct surfac e mounting.

4. Standard Self-Testing/Self-Diagnostics: Unit runs an internal tes t every

five seconds for sec ondary volta ge, charge curre nt, batter y voltage, and LED

illumination. Performs aut omatic 1 minute dis charge test e very 30 days and

30 minute discharge tes t every 180 da ys meeting and e xceeding UL 924 and

NFPA 101 requirements. The In frared Option allo ws a remote c ontrol to initi-

ate a 5 second and 30 minute self-test in addition to the s tandard 1 minut e

and 90 minute manual tes t capability.

5. Electronics: 120/277 VAC dual voltage input. Micro processor co ntrolled

charge, transfer and mo nitoring syste m. Charging syst em is complete wi th

low voltage disconnec t, AC lockout, and brownout pr otection. Self p owered

units include an AC indicato r/systems status lamp and manual te st switch.

6. Battery: Maintenance free, sealed nicke l metal hydride b attery wi th 10 year

life and an operating tem perature bet ween 14°F (-10°C) and 113°F (45°C).

NiMH battery is a n on-toxic, environm entally friendly product which i s recy-

clable.

7. Input Power Requirements:

AC Only – Red: 1.29W; Green: 2.20W

Emergency Operation – Red: 3.16W; Green: 3. 00W
