Model 1066 Coaxial Kit

The Coaxial Kit permits the remote location of the antenna on radio receivers equipped with a type F screw connector. The antenna can be moved away from a metal structure or to an outside location for better receiver performance.

Refer to the appropriate receiver and transmitter instal- lation instructions for mounting and connecting to the door operator.

Locate and mount the antenna bracket securely at the desired location making sure the coaxial cable will not interfere with the operation of the power unit.

Remove the antenna from the receiver and plug onto the receptacle at the bracket. Plug the cable onto the receiver antenna connector.

It is recommended that the cable be protected in some manner, such as a rubber grommet, at the point where it passes through a structure.
