MODEL 6160

The 6160 is a high quality audio tone generator for the Link 3000 mounting frame. It features simultaneous 1 kHz and 400Hz balanced, low impedance outputs. A third output is provided for 1 kHz or 400Hz, selectable from the front panel.

The 6160 is designed as a stereo tone source with independent A and B channel outputs. Either output can be identified by using the front panel "ID" function which will pulse the selected channel, left or right, off and on. Output levels of 0dBm, +4dBm, or +8dBm can also be selected from the front panel. The performance of the 6160 is extremely stable and accurate.

Total Harmonic Distortion is <0.06% for all outputs. The output amplifiers feature a unique cross- coupled feedback configuration for the precise phase and level matching of the balanced output. High performance audio ICs are used throu ghout the 6160's circuit to provide a low noise signal path.

As with all 3000 series modules, the 6160 will operate in the same frame with any 3000 series modules for future system expansion. State of the art design for years of reliable operation, backed by a five-year warranty. The rear cell for the 6160 is 6006 and is supplied with the 6160.
