IS Ionisation Smoke Detector

1151EIS for Hazardous Areas

Conventional technology

Up to 20 detectors can be connected to one safety barrier

Extremely flat design

Function testable with magnet

ATEX certified

Description

The Intrinsically Safe Ionisation Smoke Detector 1151EIS was developed for the safe detection of a wide range of smoke aerosols. The modern design of the ionisation chamber allows to reliably evaluate the characteristics of fi re.

Conventional technology is used for alarm transmission to the fi re detection control panel. In conjunction with

the Safety Barrier ES58-2, the detector reaches the given Ex classifi cation. The two LEDs with 360° visibility indicate the activated condition of the detector.

A detector function test can be conveniently conducted using a magnet or test gas. The detector can be at- tached to various bases and it can be protected against theft.
