11 ERROR AND LOW BATTERY INFORMATION

INDICATION	POSSIBLE REASON	CORRECTION METHODS
	The cuff is positioned incorrectly	Ensure cuff is correctly positioned; repeat measurement
	The tube plug is not securely attached to the main body	Ensure tube plug is securely attached to main body
	Movement of arm (or hand) or talking during	Remain still and quiet; repeat measurement, following
	measurement	recommendations of this manual
	The cuff is not inflated to sufficient pressure	Repeat measurement; inflate cuff to at least 40 mmHg
		higher than the expected systolic pressure
	Arrhythmia	Consult your physician
	The batteries are weak	Replace all four batteries with new ones
