WHO IS COVERED ?
You must have proof of purc hase to receive wa rranty servi ce.
A sales receipt o r other document s howing that you pur -
chased the produ ct is considered p roof of purchase .
WHAT IS COVERED?
Warranty cover age begins the day yo u buy your product .
For 90 days there after, all parts w ill be repaired or re placed
free, and labor i s free. From 90 days t o one year from the day
of purchase, al l parts will be re paired or replace d free, but
you pay for all labor c harges. Afte r one year from the day o f
purchase, you pay f or the replaceme nt or repair of all p arts,
and for all labor ch arges.
All parts, in cluding repair ed and replaced par ts, are covered
only for the origi nal warrant y period. When th e warranty on
the product exp ires, the warr anty on all repla ced and repaired
parts also ex pires.
WHAT IS EXCLUDED ?
Your warranty doe s not cover:
• labor charges f or installati on or setup of the prod uct, adjust -
ment of custome r controls on the pro duct, and ins tallation or
repair of anten na systems outs ide of the product .
• product repair a nd/or part re placement bec ause of misuse,
accident, un authorized rep air or other cause n ot within the
control of Magn avox.
• reception prob lems caused by sig nal conditions o r cable or
antenna syst ems outside the u nit.
• a product that req uires modifica tion or adaptati on to enable
it to operate in an y country other t han the countr y for which
it was designed , manufactur ed, approved and /or authorized ,
or repair of produc ts damaged by th ese modificatio ns.
• incidental or c onsequentia l damages result ing from the
product.( Some states do n ot allow the exclus ion of incident al
or consequenti al damages, so t he above exclusio n may not
apply to you. This i ncludes, but is n ot limited to, pre recorded
material, wh ether copyrigh ted or not copyrigh ted.)
• a product used for co mmercial or ins titutional pu rposes.
WHERE IS SER VICE AVAILABLE ?
Warranty ser vice is available i n all countries wh ere the
product is offic ially distrib uted by Magnavox . In countries
where Magnavox do es not distribu te the product , the local
Magnavox servi ce organizatio n will attempt t o provide service
(although the re may be a delay if the a ppropriate spa re parts
and technical m anual(s) are no t readily availab le).
