7625573 FLARE NUT TXV REPLACEMENT (Z200)

Installation Instructions

1.Disconnect power from reach-in.

2.Recover refrigerant.

3.Remove armaflex insulation from existing expansion valve.

4.To remove expansion valve, loosen flare nuts from expansion valve.

5.Unsweat flare nuts’ extensions at solder joints.

6.NOTE: WRAP NEW TXV WITH WET CLOTH TO PREVENT OVERHEATING VALVE. Slip copper extensions into TXV and swaged ends onto existing lines and sweat into place.

7.When TXV is cool, slip rubber boot over TXV and glue seam together.

8.Evacuate and weigh in proper charge.
