Installation Instructions

This kit includes a water splash shield and clips. These can be installed together or separately to eliminate the possibility of water tracking on the bottom of the left or right evaporator brackets to the back wall where it could flow into the ice bin instead of back into the water trough.

INSTALLATION OF LEFT AND RIGHT CLIPS

1.Remove bin switch from its mounting position (depress locking tab and slide bin switch out).

2.Slide right side clip onto right evaporator bracket, as shown. Clip must be positioned towards front of evaporator bracket (bottom flange of clip must be located inside water trough).

3.Reassemble bin switch onto evaporator bracket.

4.Install left side clip onto left side evaporator bracket.

IMPORTANT: B-0320/B-0420 models only – clips cannot be installed on B-0320 and B-0420 models. Splash shield must be installed to prevent water tracking.

INSTALLATION OF WATER SPLASH SHIELD

1.Loosen bottom evaporator mounting screws.

2.Peel off backside of tape and slide splash shield between backside of evaporator and wall. Position splash shield into water trough so that all the water is deflected back into the trough.

3.Tighten evaporator mounting screws.

B-0320, B-0420 specifications

Manitowoc Ice has carved a niche for itself in the commercial ice-making industry, renowned for producing high-quality ice machines that meet the demands of various businesses. Among its notable offerings are the Manitowoc Ice B-0320 and B-0420 models. These machines exemplify efficiency, reliability, and innovative engineering, making them essential for any establishment that requires a steady supply of ice.

The Manitowoc Ice B-0320 model is designed for establishments with moderate ice needs. It produces up to 300 pounds of ice daily, making it suitable for small restaurants, bars, and cafes. The B-0320 utilizes a self-contained air-cooled condenser, icing production efficiently while minimizing energy consumption. One of its standout features is the easy-access front panel that allows operators to conduct maintenance and inspections without extensive disassembly. This machine also employs a unique ice-making technology that ensures consistent ice cube size and quality.

On the other hand, the B-0420 model caters to establishments with higher ice demands, producing up to 400 pounds of ice in a 24-hour cycle. This machine is ideal for larger restaurants, hotels, and event venues. The B-0420 incorporates enhanced refrigeration technology, with a more efficient evaporator design that optimizes ice production rates while reducing water waste. Like the B-0320, it features an air-cooled condenser, but with additional options for water-cooled configurations, providing flexibility for various installation environments.

Both models come equipped with Manitowoc's signature hygiene features, including an antimicrobial protection system that helps prevent mold and bacteria growth, ensuring that the ice produced is clean and safe for consumption. The user-friendly interface and intuitive controls make it easy for operators to monitor production and manage settings with minimal training.

Another key characteristic is their durability; built to withstand the rigors of commercial use, these machines feature rugged exteriors designed to resist corrosion and wear. Moreover, their compact size allows for easy placement in limited spaces without compromising on ice production capacity.

In summary, the Manitowoc Ice B-0320 and B-0420 models epitomize efficiency and reliability, tailored to meet diverse ice production needs. Their advanced technologies, ease of maintenance, and hygienic design make them excellent choices for businesses aiming to provide customers with high-quality, clean ice consistently.
