K00160 ADAPTER KIT

Installation Instructions

1.The K00160 kit is used for installing a P-0530 ice machine on a Manitowoc 170, 400, 470 and 570, S and C-Series bins.

2.Installation (bin must be level before starting):

A.Place adapter on bin, as shown. Using the adapter as a template, drill two 5/32” (4 mm.) holes, .500” (12.7 mm.) deep maximum, in the back of the bin. Warning: Do not drill through interior liner. Attach with (2) 10-24 x

.500” screws provided.

B.Apply foam tape to the edge of the adapter opening as shown in the (A) position. Note: It is recommended to RTV intersections and along front inside edge of foam tape (see drawing) to prevent water tracking.

C.Place the ice machine on the adapter. Secure it to the adapter as shown with the (2) machine screws provided.

3.Refer to ice machine installation manual for ice machine installation procedures.
