Screen 2 specifications

The Martin Audio Screen 2 is a highly regarded loudspeaker designed specifically for professional audio applications, especially in the areas of theatre, live sound, and installations. This versatile loudspeaker is part of Martin Audio’s commitment to delivering outstanding performance in various acoustic environments.

One of the main features of the Screen 2 is its advanced driver configuration. It comprises a 12-inch low-frequency driver that ensures powerful bass response, paired with a 1-inch high-frequency driver that delivers crystal-clear highs. This combination ensures a well-rounded audio reproduction that can handle a diverse range of audio content, from nuanced dialogue to dynamic music performances.

The Screen 2 is designed with a sky-high sensitivity rating, which means it can produce high sound levels with minimal power input. This efficiency is crucial in professional settings where clarity and loudness are essential. The speaker also features a broad frequency response, allowing it to reproduce audio across the entire audible spectrum, making it suitable for various applications, including music venues, corporate events, and broadcasting.

In terms of technology, the Screen 2 utilizes advanced waveguide technology that minimizes phase distortion and delivers an even sound distribution across the listening area. This ensures that audiences positioned at different angles still receive the same quality of sound, adding to the immersive experience.

The cabinet design of the Screen 2 is both robust and aesthetically pleasing. Constructed from high-quality materials, it is built to withstand the rigors of touring while maintaining a professional appearance for installation in venues. The enclosure also features rigging points, allowing for flexibility in mounting and positioning, which is essential for optimizing sound projection in various environments.

Another notable characteristic of the Screen 2 is its compatibility with other Martin Audio products. This allows for seamless integration into existing sound systems, making it a great choice for sound engineers and designers looking to expand their audio capabilities without compromising quality.

Overall, the Martin Audio Screen 2 is an exceptional loudspeaker that embodies innovation, performance, and durability. Whether used in a theatre, concert hall, or corporate venue, it stands as a reliable choice for professionals who demand uncompromising audio quality.
