eter rigid metal 
duct. Tape all joints, including at the dryer. Never use

Keep duct runs as straight as possible.

Clean all old ducts
before installing your new dryer. Be sure vent flap opens and closes freely. Inspect and clean the exhaust system annually.

Let a poor exhaust system
cause slow drying.

Restrict your dryer with a poor exhaust system.

Use plastic, thin foil, or non-metal flex- ible duct.

Use longer than necessary duct runs with many elbows.
