PREPARING THE OVEN

PREPARING THE OVEN

Each individual oven is checked at the factory, but for safety’s sake, after unpacking the oven, you should check carefully that it has not been damaged during transport. Check whether there is any visible damage (e.g. in the form of dents or similar), whether the door (6) closes properly, and whether the hinges are in working order. If it appears that the oven has been damaged, you must contact the shop where you bought it, and do not use it until it has been checked by an authorised specialist.

You should check before installation that all packaging, stickers and transport materials have been removed from the oven both inside and outside.

Ensure that the oven is positioned correctly (see the safety measures above).

Wash all accessories in soapy water and dry them before use.

Plug in. Switch on the power. A beep is heard, and the display (7) shows “POWER” and “CLOCK” and gives the time as 0:00. The colon flashes, and the oven clock begins to run.

Caution! Each time you press one of the buttons on the control panel, a beep is heard. If you press a button that has no function in the programme or the oven function you have selected, there will be two rapid beeps.

CLEANING

When cleaning the oven, you should pay attention to the following points:

Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the oven to cool down before cleaning.

Remove the crumb tray from the oven and brush it clean.

Never use scouring powder, steel scourers or other strong cleaning agents to clean the interior or exterior surfaces of the oven or accessories, as they may scratch the surfaces. Instead use a cloth dampened with hot water, and add detergent if the oven is very dirty.

Make sure that no water gets into the vent holes.

Trays, grille and handle may be washed in water and washing-up liquid. They are also dishwasher-safe.

Allow the oven compartment to dry completely before closing the oven door.
