SAFETY MEASURES
•The vacuum cleaner, charging station, cord or adapter must not be placed in water or any other liquid.
•Never touch the vacuum cleaner, charging station, cord, adapter or plug with wet or damp hands.
•Never leave the vacuum cleaner unattended when it is switched on. Children should be supervised when they use the vacuum cleaner.
•Avoid pulling the cord when removing the adapter from the socket. Instead, hold the adapter. Keep the cord and appliance away from heat sources, hot objects and naked flames.
•Never use the appliance if it, the charging station, cord or adapter is damaged or if the appliance is not functioning correctly.
•Only use accessories manufactured or recommended by the manufacturer.
•The appliance is for indoor use only. Do not use the appliance on wet surfaces.
•Do not use the appliance to vacuum up matches, hot ashes, cigarette butts, hard or sharp objects, wet or damp substances, combustible materials (petrol, solvents, etc.) or vapour from these.
•Do not cover the appliance’s suction or exhaust port. Ensure that you keep clothing, hair and body parts away from the nozzle.
•Never try to repair the vacuum cleaner yourself. If the appliance, charging station, cord or adapter needs to be repaired, it should be taken to an authorised service centre. Contact your retailer if the repairs fall under the terms of the guarantee.

BEFORE USE
•Plug the adapter (8) in and switch on.
•Place the vacuum cleaner in the charging station (7). The indicator light (5) comes on while the battery is charging.
Important!
It normally takes between 8 and 9 hours to charge the vacuum cleaner. Always ensure you unplug the adapter once the battery is sufficiently charged, as the battery will otherwise overheat.
