Incorrect use of the popcorn maker may cause personal injury and damage to the appliance.

Use the popcorn maker for its intended purpose only. The manufacturer is not responsible for any injury or damage resulting from incorrect use or handling (see also Guarantee Terms).

For connection to 230 V, 50 Hz only.

Do not immerse the appliance or cord in water or other fl uids when connected to the mains.

Do not open the cabinet or insert objects into it, as this may result in electric shock or damage to the popcorn maker.

Never touch the popcorn maker or its plug with wet hands. Do not use the appliance in damp environments.

Never leave the popcorn maker unattended when in use and keep an eye on children.

Never switch the popcorn maker on unless it has popping corn in it.

NB! THE POPCORN MAKER GETS VERY HOT DURING USE. Always use a potholder or oven gloves to avoid burns when handling the popcorn maker, and let it cool down before you remove the top of the machine or clean it.

Positioning the popcorn maker

Place the popcorn maker on a fl at, stable and non-fl ammable surface out of the reach of children.

Always place the popcorn maker at a safe distance from fl ammable objects such as curtains, tablecloths or similar.

Do not cover the popcorn maker.

Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table/counter, and keep it away from hot objects and naked fl ames.

Cord, plug and mains socket

Check regularly that neither the cord nor plug is damaged and do not use the popcorn maker if damage is evident, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any other way.

If the appliance, cord or plug is damaged, the appliance must be inspected and, if necessary, repaired by an authorised repair engineer, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock. Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself.

Always turn the appliance off using the on/off button, and unplug it, when it is not in use or before cleaning.

PRIOR TO FIRST USE

Before using the popcorn maker for the fi rst time, remove all packaging and clean the appliance as described in “Cleaning”.

USE

The popcorn maker pops the corn using hot air. Therefore you should never use microwave popcorn or ready-mixed packs of popping corn containing oil/fat in this appliance. Never place oil/fat, salt or anything else in the popper with the

corn.

Place the upper section (3) on the base (6), so the opening (5) is opposite the side with the on/off button (7).

Fill the measuring cup (1) with popping corn (approx. 40 g).

Pour the corn through the fi lling funnel (2), so it falls down into the popper (4).
