BEFORE USE
-Make sure that the cooking plate is completely dry before use.
-The cooking plate should not be placed on a untreated woodsurface. Place the cooking plate on a heat resistant surface.
-Before using for the first time, the protective coating must be burned off the hotplates. Ensure the room is well ventilated while doing this, as it may give off an unpleasant smell. This is normal and will disappear after a couple of minutes.

FUNCTION
The cooking plates are controlled by a thermostat. This means that the power will be switched on and off from time to time. Consequently, the thermostat lamps will also be switched on and off from time to time.
Pls. note that when the cooking plates are switched on for the beginning of a cooking process the thermostat will switch on and off during this heat up process until final max. set temperature is reached.
In case the unit is used in e.g. a cottage or summerhouse where the ambient temperature is low during the winter season the thermostat can switch on the unit by itself. So, since there is no on/off switch on the unit ALWAYS UNPLUG THE UNIT AFTER EACH USE.
USE
-Plug in the appliance and turn the socket on.
-Choose the desired heat setting.
-The indicator light will go on and off when the thermostat switch on and off.
-Always use
